Spring Sunshine – April 2011

But now it’s starting to seem like Winter might finally be leaving, if this past week is any indication. We certainly hope so!

With the Sun warming not only the ground but our spirits as well, getting yourself out of the house and into the yard and garden is now at the top of list. We’ve spent the last month preparing some fresh ideas and inspiration for you to take a look at here at our Nursery. We have many new plants, shrubs, pottery, and premium nursery flowers, so stop on by and look around. We’re looking forward to seeing you soon!

A Gardener’s Best Friend!

Insects are usually found sucking juices out of plants. An easy remedy is simply introducing ladybugs to your garden. It’s said that if one lands on you, it brings good luck and fortune, perhaps the ladybug charm is extended to the garden. They are extremely beneficial for home use, consuming up to 50-60 aphids a day and many other small insects.

You can find ladybugs year round at Green Valley Nursery & Landscape. Banish unwanted insects without using chemical pesticides. By keeping aphids under control, plants have a better chance at growing healthy and producing flowers, More >
